Please don't always be the person with the big heart who gives more than they get. You deserve good things too. You deserve care, good treatment, and support. Learn to know when to sit back and be treated well, too, you deserve it.
As someone with anxiety, I cannot do inconsistency. Don’t introduce me to energy and a vibe you don’t plan on maintaining. One minute, you’re sweet; the next minute, you’re mean and cold. One minute, you’re present; the next minute, you’re distant. Absolutely not.
Trauma can make you agree to things just to keep the peace because you think there will be negative consequences for expressing how you feel and you're used to being invalidated. Healing lets you enforce your boundaries so you don't keep the peace and start a war inside yourself.
I think the hardest realisation about this life thing, is when you realise you alone.. like sure you have family and friends but you are alone, YOU need to figure out this life thing on your own and that’s on that!
1. The problem is rarely the problem.
99% of the harm is caused in your head, by you and your thoughts.
1% of the harm is caused by the reality, what actually happens, and the outcome.
Most of the time, the problem isn't the problem. The way you think about the problem is.
