Tabitha Awino, the young woman behind a controversial TikTok challenge, has since deactivated her account. But the internet never forgets. Disiyai sleuths continue to pursue her, determined to hold her accountable. In the shadows of viral fame, she's left to face the weight of public judgment alone.
I saw some people celebrating the loss of one of our own just because of personal hatred in a competition that was between our country vs another .
It doesn't beat logic, but time will tell.
Dear Nyerians, Kenya is bigger than you people. When Raila said Kibaki Tosha (from Nyeri), ran up and down and even used his credit card to take him to hospital in the UK after the nasty accident, he knew very well that Emilio was from Nyeri. Verily verily, there will come a time when other people will sing, dance and celebrate the downfall of a man or woman from Nyeri. Tolerance is paramount.
Hello @mungaikihanya you have not factored that the vehicle is on loan has insurance and it does not do business for 4 months of the year and is no authorized to carry other passengers
I cannot understand the school transport business....
I pay 4k monthly. The van carries 15 kids. 15x4k = 60k.
School is 8km from home; probably consumes 2L - 3L of fuel daily - about Sh500 = 12k monthly.
60-12=48k monthly. 8 school months annually = 384k pa.
Why is it & how come Kenya canβt have Naivasha, Nanyuki, Diani, Malindi & Karen be just small beautiful towns like this? Such towns in Switzerland, Italy, US, New Zealand, Portugal, Germany, France et al attract hundreds of millions of tourists & everyone becomes rich. Tourists donβt visit slum-like towns we have. And you wonder why despite Kenya βwinningβ all tourists Awards, tourists to Kenya average 1.2m β¦ France attracts 60m! Is it so hard for NEMA & City Planning Departments to do it?
The 2023 Gross County Product (GCP) is out. Published by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) with funding from the @UKinKenyaβs Kenya Devolution Programme (KDP) and the @denmarkinkenya through the @WorldBankKenya βs Kenya Accountable Devolution Programme (KADP).
This is the third edition of the GCP after the 2019 and 2021 editions. The GCP essentially measures the economic size and contribution to GDP by the 47 counties and the wealth distribution amongst population living in those counties.

What a joy to celebrate our 60th anniversary between the @WorldBank and #Rwanda by planting trees within the community in Rusororo. Tree planting is one of the simplest and most effective ways to mitigate the effects of climate change. π³π #RwandaWorldBank60
The most annoying thing about the current supermarkets is that even if you combined all of them, they wouldn't reach or match where Nakumatt was. Nakumatt had everything.
If you looking for something unique, you have to traverse the whole of Nairobi to get it. I miss Nakumatt.
Join us in welcoming @sahr_kpundeh , the new @Worldbank country manager for Rwanda. Kpundeh will lead the WBβs engagement in Rwanda, including an active portfolio, knowledge partnership, and dialogue with the @RwandaGov and other key stakeholders.
