Congratulations to Southeastern quarterback Cole Kelley, recipient of the 2020-21 Stats Perform FCS Walter Peyton Award. Can you guess which one in the photo is the best FCS offensive player in the nation? Cole is an impressive young man, and we are so proud that he is a Lion.
It was great meeting today with our incoming SGA leadership team. It was also wonderful to be able to meet without face masks as everyone was fully vaccinated. I encourage everyone to Lion Up and get vaccinated!
Thrilled for the Lions to be back in action in Strawberry Stadium. It's always a pleasure to share some of the great things going on at Southeastern. Lion Up!
Excited about the prospect of expanding our work with St. Tammany Corporation in support of economic development. CEO Chris Masingill, Commissioner Will Wainwright and SBDC Director Bill Joubert look on as I sign the agreement with Board of Commissioners President Marty Mayer.

Had an informative discussion this afternoon with some of our Black student leaders. Of course, we wore face masks and employed social distancing measures. I value their honest and open guidance and will work with all to ensure a diverse and inclusive campus community.
