@SketchesbyBoze Or at least Classic Disney. I knew and had all those characters as a kid thanks to the Disney Channel showing OG Disney movies and animation. I still have Disney's Treasure Island (1950) and the animated Robin Hood and Sword in the Stone on tape somewhere.
@theistinthought You've never lived in a city, have you? In NYC, you'll see people on the subway with all their bags. Also folks with pop-up/foldable carts. Whole families shop together, everybody carries a bag. Many independent grocers/bodegas have always had delivery. Now, Instacart, etc.
@kaylar622 Fred Clark brought that sarcastic humor to many of the roles he played, bringing extra snap and sizzle to so many classic films. I think his best is the tight-ass Mr. Babcock in "Auntie Mame." #TCMparty
Grable and Bacall were the bigger stars at the time and get more screen time, but Marilyn more than holds her own and shines alongside these equally talented women. Also solid female buddy comedy vibes.
