We are absolutely delighted to welcome Josh Bennett to Clevedon Town FC❗️

Josh arrives at the Hand Stadium with an outstanding pedigree, having impressed at clubs including Yate Town, Taunton Town, Cribbs FC and Melksham Town.

An aggressive and highly accomplished defender, Josh brings a wealth of experience, leadership and quality to the Seasiders. His ability to defend one-on-one, cover ground with pace and compete at a consistently high level makes him a huge addition to the squad.

This is a major statement signing for the club and one that reflects the ambition of the project moving forward. Josh was a player we were determined to bring to Clevedon, and securing his signature is a massive boost ahead of the new season.

We are delighted to confirm that Glen Hayer has committed to Clevedon Town FC for the 2026/27 season.

Glen is the definition of a model player. A committed, hard-working defender who gives absolutely everything for the badge every time he steps onto the pitch. His professionalism, attitude and determination set the standard for those around him.

Not only is Glen a huge asset on the field, but the work he puts in behind the scenes for the club never goes unnoticed. After turning down multiple offers from other clubs, he remained loyal, he embodies everything we want Clevedon Town FC to be about.

‼️ OSCAR COMMITS ‼️

We’re thrilled to confirm that Oscar Bridgman has committed to the club for another season.

Oscar has remained a key part of the team on the right hand side over the past couple of seasons, with 72 appearances for the Seasiders so far.

Starting at North Somerset where he won the National U12 championship in a side including Henry Westlake, he moved to Bristol Rovers, had a short loan at Melksham Town and joined the Seasiders in July 2023 after being a regular for Rovers Under 18s.

“Buzzing to stay for another season, it’s exciting times ahead for the club and I’m hungrier than ever to get this club where it should be, can’t wait to get going again.”

With his electric pace and technical ability, the supporters will continue to be entertained by his driving runs forward in the upcoming season!

The tenacious 24-year-old winger arrives with an impressive pedigree, having played at Taunton Town in the Southern Premier League last season. A former Bristol City academy player, Jayden brings pace, energy and attacking intent down the flanks, along with valuable experience beyond his years.

His quality, work ethic and ambition made him a key target for the club, and we are thrilled to secure one of the standout signings of the summer as we continue to build an exciting future at Clevedon Town.

Having gained valuable Southern League experience with Willand Rovers, he also produced a series of impressive performances for Wellington last season that certainly caught the eye.

Lucas is a giant of a centre forward who brings presence, power and a real goal threat every time he steps onto the pitch. He has goals written all over him and possesses all the attributes needed to trouble defenders at this level.

Having played in the Southern League last season and registering an impressive 21 goals, Lucas arrives back at the Hand Stadium in fine form and full of confidence.

Having already worn the shirt before, Lucas knows exactly what this club is about, and we’re thrilled to see him return to the Seasiders once again.

Another of our fans’ favourite following his all-action displays last season, Charlie quickly became a key figure in the side with his energy, commitment and quality in midfield. In his first season at the club, he made an impressive 37 appearances and chipped in with 8 goals from midfield.

“I really enjoyed my first season at the club and having worked with the gaffers now at two clubs I was keen to continue as we look to continue the progress. The supporters were brilliant last season and I’m looking forward to doing my best again in front of them as we aim to build on last season!”

We’re absolutely delighted that James Dunn has committed to another season with Clevedon Town.

Since rejoining the Seasiders in July 2023, Dunny has been nothing short of outstanding. An ever-present figure between the sticks, recording an incredible 55 clean sheets so far, making 144 appearances, establishing himself as one of the finest goalkeepers in the league.

Just as importantly, he’s one of the nicest blokes you could wish to meet and a huge presence around the club.

The rebrand of our badge has been approached with great sensitivity and a real understanding of what makes Clevedon, Clevedon. We recognise that a football club is built on far more than results on a pitch; it is built on history, identity, memories and the people who have shaped it over generations. Our previous crest has represented decades of achievements, players, volunteers and supporters who have all played a part in creating the club we know today. While creating a modern identity for the future, it was important that the soul of the club remained untouched.

The inclusion of the historic Clevedon Pier within the new design reflects one of the town’s most recognisable landmarks and symbolises strength, heritage and our connection to the community, which remains at the heart of everything we do. This rebrand also represents the coming together of the identities of Clevedon Town and North Somerset RTC, aligning both under one clear vision and creating a stronger pathway and united future.

Supporters will also begin to see wider changes, from exciting investment into the team and developments around the stadium, to bold new kit designs that reflect the ambition and energy of this new era. We are beginning an exciting journey together and the crest is only the start.
