As you begin a new school year, you might ask your students this question I learned from @ernestmorrell: "What does it mean to get better at reading?" Maybe chart their responses.
Does learning student names at the start of the school year stress you out?

I am in love with Thought Notes. I am able to create Must-Dos for students but still allow for choice. Students are able to pick and choose think questions, doodles, TQEs, and showcase their learning on Dystopian themes and literary elements in The Hunger Games @studysync
Did my first #thoughtnotes spread for the first chunk of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind I had fun adding @studysync think ? & some #TQE Using the bookmark we made last week & the novel guide helped focus my reading and doodles @Ms_Woz what do you think? #StrongerTogether
#Middleschool students should B empowered 2 make learning choices. They need 2 work alongside others 2 grow/flourish/explore. They need 2 set goals/stumble/achieve. And they need 2 see teachers & administrators as learners, too. #MLEM@AMLE
