Asphalt Poet

Asphalt Poet. I don’t refute it. I drive it until it wrecks. Thoughts, prayers, and gasoline is all we need.

“The Canary of the Skies”

Through dust and smoke and shattered stone,
Where silent ruined streets lay bare,
He dug with bleeding hands alone
And wept into the burning air.

For Canary, whose gifted hands
Once brought the quiet keys to life,
Was lost beneath the falling lands,
A gentle heart in brutal strife.

Captured, screaming, torn apart,
He bore the weight of silent grief,
Yet deep within his wounded heart
He vowed to bring the world relief.

In shadow of the Vyndral rule,
He stood alongside Caratine,
Refusing to remain a tool
Or cower from the battle scene.

With Marissia, brave and bold,
He fought to set the captives free,
A spark of hope amidst the cold,
A stand against captivity.

Now soaring high above the land
Among the clouds where angels tread,
He steers the ship with steady hand
Where others falter, bound by dread.

For Philanthropy’s Reserve he flies,
No quest for honor, fame, or praise,
Just wings across the open skies
To shield the lost through darkest days.

He knows he cannot save them all,
Yet yields no ground to bleak despair;
Whenever desperate voices call,
He drops like mercy through the air.

To save a life, to clear the way,
To hold the night until the dawn,
A song of hope that lives today,
The skyward song of one long gone.

A guardian where the tempests blow,
Above the sorrow and the cries:
To bring the light to those below,
He reigns, the Canary of the Skies.

@CptnLoco262 @libsoftiktok Would you sacrifice the lives of your own children for the right to bear arms? Yes or no.

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@BB_old_guy @LauraLoomer They deserve to be shown dignity, not just because they’re people, but because it shows that we as a society are different from them.

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@AMarch4OurLives Can we ban guns now?

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@nosoupforgeorge Republicans disagree with you. They would all gleefully sacrifice their children for the right to bear arms.

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@GunOwners “Guns save lives.”

Meanwhile, the US has 435 million firearms and averages 650 mass shootings every single year.

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@InsiderWire Cool story.

Can we ban guns now?

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@ceh9876 @GunOwners Or we just ban guns and solve the issue entirely.

@CptnLoco262 @libsoftiktok Thoughts, prayers, and gasoline.

Repeat the cycle. Break out the tiny body bags. Let’s see what the next zip code on the news is.

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@aapetrenko @love4rottweiler @GuntherEagleman Protecting your children means disarming the people who want to shoot them. You have to make a sacrifice; your guns, or your kids.

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@cdubcon @GunOwners You can argue that guns aren’t the problem if the deaths aren’t firearm related.

Are the deaths firearm related?

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@_Wraithborne_ @love4rottweiler @GuntherEagleman Deaths from mass shootouts, sure. Adolescent deaths from firearms, not just mass shootings, surpasses motor vehicle deaths.

Also you seem to be arguing that car accidents are LITERALLY WOSRSE THAN MURDER. I’m sure you’d like to backpedal now. Maybe delete your post?

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@aapetrenko @love4rottweiler @GuntherEagleman If people would stop valuing their guns over the lives of their children.

Republicans would rather their own children get shot than do anything about gun violence in America.

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@love4rottweiler @GuntherEagleman Three children are dead.

If nobody had a gun to begin with, three children would still be alive.

Can we ban guns now? It’s the only reasonable solution to all of this.

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@cdubcon @GunOwners Are you saying you don’t care that three children got shot?

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@FoxNews Can we ban guns now?

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@atensnut Can we ban guns now?

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@MAGAVoice Yes, and we should also ban guns.

[Asphalt Poet @JLTAsphaltPoet]

@XiaSikoa Penta.
