@DavidNewell95 Will you be making an Android version?

I understand the "Apple" appeal, but there is a world, a broader market, of mature Android foldables Apple is now joining that you can also bring your app to. #foldables #iphone #android #ios #Samsung @SamsungMobile @Motorola

For those worried about colors on the iPhone Duo, here’s a video I showed off the inner screen with comic books 📚

After a long day playing my fake iPhone Duo accordion, I like to unwind with a fake grilled cheese sandwich made on my fake Duo panini press and have a cold fake beer from my fake Duo fridge. Then listen to my fake Walkman and play a little fake soccer and fake Battleship. All on a very real $2,000 phone.

@FlossyCarter @Samsung Worth noting is the matte "nano-texture" cover layer of #iPhoneDuo only *hides* the crease.
Physics is physics. With time & hundreds of folds the crease will inevitably worsen as with all foldables. A new cover layer will be less effective at hiding a worsening crease over time.

[Jason L Ward @JLTechWord]

Influencers are raving because #Apple will replace the pre-installed cover layer of #iPhoneDuo's folding display for $19. #calmdown(@flossycarter voice)😄

This is simply Apple price-matching @Samsung's $19 replacement cost for the pre-installed screen protector of its Folds.

[Jason L Ward @JLTechWord]

@FlossyCarter @Samsung The difference is the additional function of Apple's use of a *matte* cover layer w/the purpose of hiding the crease.

Because the matte layer is leading the conversation about #iPhoneDuo's minimal crease, a $19 replacement cost to a "renew" that function over time resonates.

Hi Cale you may want to fix this. @panos_panay may not like being called a pansy😃#typos #autocorrect 😄@JezCorden @Daniel_Rubino @ceeceehaatch

Man I wish Panos was still @Microsoft leading @Surface making bold creative aspirational products #SurfaceDuo #SurfacePro #SurfaceBook

[Jason L Ward @JLTechWord]

I just noticed just how much #iPhoneDuo looks like @Microsoft's #SurfaceDuo (2019) when Surface Duo(250grams) is in phone mode (completely folded over on its 360 degree hinge).
Notice the "D" shape shared by both devices that everyone's noticing about @Apple's device (254grams).

2020, a crazy year

[Sanju Choudhary @saaaanjjjuuu]

WTF!! A Reddit user already recreated the iPhone Duo animation on Galaxy Z Fold 8 🥵

[Jason L Ward @JLTechWord]

@Microsoft must be kicking itself for canceling @SurfaceDuo as @Apple takes the form factor and NAME 😡 with #iPhoneDuo, and tells the Duo story in a way Microsoft failed to continue
after @panos_panay's great introduction of the Duo in 2019.

[Jason L Ward @JLTechWord]

Microsoft positioned the Surface Duo on its public product page as a Dual Screen Computer, postioning it as a pocketable computer that made calls.

#Apple may succeed in telling the story - positioning- its foladable "creating" a category of pocketable tablet. #Iphonefold
