Eng 10 Ss are making a foldable today for writing! They are making important notes on thesis statement, assertion, evidence, and commentary. Next, they are using the feedback and rubric score from their last writing to create a writing sample for future reference. @lincolnhs

PreAP Eng10 Ss worked on writing commentary. They analyzed the poem “Written in Pencil in the Sealed Railway-Car” and worked in groups to write commentary line-by-line. Lastly, they looked at a sample student essay and improved the commentary.

Eng10 PreAp Ss compared perspectives in multiple texts. They analyzed imagery & mood in the painting Mona Lisa and in the poem “The Smile Unbroken She Awaits”. Ss ended the lesson by making connections with the texts and their lives. #selfawareness @lincolnhs

LHS Softball will have a clean up day this Saturday starting at 8am. We will be cleaning the concession stand, bathrooms, pressure washing, removing grass from the infield, painting, etc. Community members or students needing community work hours are welcome!
