Dribble and Build with 2nd grade. Dribble and get the ball into the hoop. Go shopping for 1 object and bring it back to build with partner. Switch jobs with partner. Great dribbling, cooperation, and creativity. #physed
BOUNCE BALL develops teamwork, reaction skills, & throwing with accuracy. Primary focus = catching above and below the waist. Great activity from @MrHamiltonPE@Wellington_Elem@LISDWellness2
Our version of Splat the Spot from @OPENPhysEd! Such a great lead up & skill activity as we kick off Pickleball/Pickleminton this week. The focus on striking with appropriate force is the perfect objective for day 1. #mhepe #risdmoves #risdbetheone #physed #teachershelpingteachers
I named it Ultimate Pickleball! Another one of my “in the shower” creations. Seems some of my best ideas come from there, probably bc it’s one of the few times no one is asking me for something🤣. 5th helped me work through the rules and declared it a keeper! Check it out: https://t.co/dyZj8NKsNH

Chain Reaction with 5th grade. Variation from @ckmulloy Teams start with 4 hoops on their cone. If a catch is made, move 1 hoop to another team’s cone. Game ends when a team gets rid of all of their hoops. Lots of fun! #physed
Hand Tennis! 👋🏻🎾🔥
Simple set up and an excellent way to develop hand-eye coordination.
Focus on building long rallies before adding that competitive element.
Must follows: @ISFsports@PEScholar@WannaTeachPE is out now! 📘👇🏻
