I'm shocked the guy who thought Dean Phillips would win Michigan finds @elonmusk's propaganda video credible
Here are some arguments, Bill:
1) It is illegal for non-citizens to vote in federal elections, and they don't, because you need a license or SSN to register
2) All mail-in ballots are verified in every state
3) 95% of noncitizen growth went to red states since 2019 (Cato)
4) TX, FL, NC (red) gained the most House seats in the 2020 Census; CA, IL, NY (blue) lost the most.
5) If non-citizens weren't counted in the Census, TX, FL, and CA would each lose 1 seat; AL, MN, OH would each gain 1 (Pew)
6) Demographics have not been destiny for Democrats - the party's advantage with voters of color is at its lowest point in 60 years, driven by a rightward shift among Latinos (Axios)
7) If Biden and Democrats believed the idiotic assertion that illegal immigration would help their party, the President probably wouldn't have deported more undocumented immigrants than Trump did, and he probably wouldn't be campaigning on a conservative Republican's bill that would temporarily shut down the border.
@Danny_Heifetz Jamarr just announced as healthy. I’m probably going to be down about 15 in the championship after the morning games.
Chase or Rashee rice? I also have Kelce playing
So, the lesson we should take away from the realignment saga that only universities located in major media markets deserve to be D-1 athletics programs?
Is that what collegiate sports means now? Fuck the regional, the (semi) rural, and the well-being of the athlete for more $?
This is a horrible take; came back to a terrible situation, righted the ship, and got screwed by greed.
Some PAC-12 institutions bear significant responsibility (USC & UCLA), some bear limited responsibility (Washington & UO), but many are victims of the larger realignment trend
There’s no way to sugarcoat it:
just an absolutely spineless, cowardly, and crass betrayal. Smith took the easy way out, turned his back on his alma mater, and was deceitful to his players and Beaver fans when we needed him most.
Loyalties mean nothing.
Legacies mean nothing.
@Danny_Heifetz Jamarr Chase, DJ Moore, Puka Nacua, AJ Brown, start 3
For context I did not start Moore last week and he had 50 on my bench so I’m leaning towards starting him for sure
@karl_emmrich How many antivaxxers do you think are persuadable though at this point?
I think it’s a huge percentage of people on both sides of the argument who will never be persuaded to change their mind on the issue, no matter what. People are dug in
