Jon Lester was one of my all time favorite pitchers to come thru Boston! Great work ethic, attitude, winner! Should have spent his entire career here!
And - should be in Cooperstown one day! @baseballhall@JLester34@RedSox
A night at Bub City, 7 missed phone calls at 2 a.m., Theo Epstein making a signing mid-beer.
The story of David Ross’ Chicago Cubs negotiation is truly an ALL-TIMER 🔥🔥
Jon Lester on his Baseball Hall of Fame chances after getting into the Cubs Hall of Fame: “This, and the Red Sox….means more to me.”
Should Jon Lester be a Hall of Famer?

The Cubs mourn the passing of Tom “Otis” Hellmann, a fixture in our organization for 41 seasons.
Otis served as the Home Clubhouse Manager for 23 years before being named Home Clubhouse Manager Emeritus in 2023. Otis’ tireless effort, selflessness and dedication to his job showed on the field among the countless players and coaches who have proudly represented the Cubs through the years.
With 50 years served in baseball, he will be missed deeply within our organization and far beyond it.
Mourning alongside my Cubs family this evening after hearing about the passing of Otis. Otis was as loyal and dedicated as the day is long. He had a welcoming demeanor and a big heart. He was funny, he was kind, he was my friend, and I’m going to miss him. Rest easy buddy.
