This morning at @GreenbrierGator our families showed support for their teachers! We saw that all over the District today and this entire week. Thank you families and community for not flinching right along with us this week. 🙏 🤜🤛

Started VERY difficult Magic Square task today as a Rough Draft math task. Interesting to hear the Ss strategies for finding the answers. Took a while to see a few patterns. #d25RoughDraftMath

Overheard during math class today: "Why am I so good at revising when I was so bad at doing the math the first time?" #d25RoughDraftMath

Adv math Ss worked on a digital Breakout Edu, and it turned into a "Rough Draft Math" task. It was perfect, because they all had lots of ideas about how to solve the puzzle, but they hadn't tried them yet. A good discussion about strategy and observation. #d25roughdraftmath

Had grade 5 math kiddos explore metric units today without a question. Here is what they came up with.#d25roughdraftmath

Key takeaway from book study of Rough Draft Math: we must listen empathetically to our students and not just listen for a correct answer. #D25RoughDraftMath
