2026 Sports in Kansas Non-Senior๐ Player of the Year (Small Classes): Kaelyn Boss, Osage City
Kaelyn Boss repeats as Sports in Kansas Non-Senior Player of the Year after leading Osage City to a 3A state runner-up finish, the best in school history.
The sophomore averaged 17.5 points, 7 rebounds, 4.4 steals, 2.5 assists and 1 block per game, impacting the game on both ends while battling back from an early season injury.
Boss plays for her mother, 2026 3A Coach of the Year Kate Boss, and comes from one of the top athletic families in the state. Her brother Landon is an All-American football player at Emporia State, and her sister Lexi is a thrower at Wichita State.
A standout multi-sport athlete herself, Boss won a state championship in the javelin as a freshman and is on track to be one of the top throwers in the country.
With her production, versatility and continued rise, Boss has already established herself as one of the top young players in Kansas.
