@NateSchlomann There was that thing that happened at Pentecost in Acts 2, instigated by that Normie-istic apostle Peter.
When the Spirit is working through the clear presentation of the Gospel, a call to a decision is warranted. Enjoy it, and rejoice.
@anahnemoo@PastorBJWatts No one chooses God prior to God illuminating his or her heart. It is the work of the Spirit to illuminate, and it is the responsibility of man to choose. Man’s choosing does not make him an actor. The work is finished. Salvation is complete. All man can do is say yes or no.
@anahnemoo@PastorBJWatts But then we have man’s ability to choose in Genesis 3…which got this whole debate started.
Man being able to choose does not negate the sovereignty of God.
@dalepartridge @Lenox79135141 The Reformers were just that—reformers. They were Catholic theologians who found new insight resulting in Five Solas—but eschatologically they never went far from Rome.
Allegory for eschatology does not come from exegesis.
Thank you to US 🇺🇲, Britain 🇬🇧, Jordan 🇯🇴, and Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 air forces that fought against Iran side by side with Israel 🇮🇱 air force tonight.
Israel is not alone.
IRAN ATTACKS ISRAEL: In a major escalation, Tehran launches at least 100 military drones at Israeli cities — IDF is preparing to intercept and retaliate. First impact expected around 2am Israel time (about 90 min from now). https://t.co/pBJhiy7a3Q via @all_israel_news
