@heimer_dexter @IrishRail I read in the news a vehicle struck a bridge in the area earlier today around lunchtime & services were suspended between grand canal dock & pearse in both directions so maybe that's had a knock on affect? 🤔

The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (DETE) has activated a nationwide Flood Support Scheme for affected businesses, administered by the Irish Red Cross.

To apply, businesses must:
• Have no flood insurance
• Employ 20 staff or fewer
• Have been affected by rainfall linked to #StormChandra

Manned by @irishredcross staff and volunteers, to support people distressed by flood damage to their home, property or business.

The helpline is for people who would like to speak to someone who can provide them with a supportive ‘listening ear’ and make them aware of other Government or local authority support services.

It is not an emergency services phoneline. Anyone in need of on-the-ground help from emergency services should call 112 / 999.

Members of the public can also contact Waterford City and County Council’s Customer Services Desk on 0818 10 20 20 and outside of office hours calls will be transferred to the Council’s emergency services number.

Following on from our meeting in Ramallah yesterday we travelled to Dura, Hebron to meet with our inspiring #RedCrescent volunteers.

They are providing essential community services from emergency medical response to mobile clinics. It’s truly moving to hear firsthand from volunteers of all ages what motivates them to help others.

Their support is absolutely vital in this challenging context.

This is the result after going at it for 30 minutes with nail varnish remover & boiling hot water with soap & a nail brush. Any suggestions how to remove it folks?
