Aiming to improve on this 575 lbs beltless squat tonight as we continue to navigate the challenges presented. Life is far from great at the moment but we can make the most out of what we have.
This is the realest thing I’ve ever read. All my friends know this.
“My friendship doesn't have requirements. It doesn't have guidelines. As long as it's organic, unforced and non toxic, you will forever have my love and support.”
When we try acting more like the person we wish we were... we usually start becoming more like that person. No one is perfect, no one can be perfect. But we can be effortful in pursuing our idealized self & become so much more than our default.
Pause
Reflect
Grow
We don't get a pause or rewind feature in life. It keeps moving whether we are ready or not. Lean on loved ones, take a breath, gather your footing, & keep making the choice to make it the absolute best you can. As much as you can is all that you can ask.
The world has felt on fire for a bit now, even more so today. Be kind to one another & to yourselves. Uplift & encourage where you can, but make sure you aren't trying to pour from an empty cup.
If you only do the things you need to when you FEEL like doing them, you will spend a lot of time in the exact same place. If you're fine with that then there is nothing wrong with it. However, if you want to make a change then it will require action when you dont feel actionable
A growth mindset is the belief that even if something is impossible for you right now, that doesn't mean it will remain that way. A fixed mindset is one that locks you into your current state.
Believe in your capacity to grow & you will.
Believe you are stuck & you are.
@playlostark Why do you makes this hard? I can only pick one?!? Can I just adopt all 3? Come on now…..🙃. This is harder than picking the color for the Cerberus.

With how much social media "highlights people's highlights" it is easier than ever to lose perspective & assume everyone, except you is thriving. Stop, take a breath. Everyone has struggles, most we don't see. Stay present, keep going
Sometimes when things feel like they are getting easier, it's really just you getting stronger & more resilient. That growth can't happen without challenge. It's ok not to be ok, & discomfort is neccesary for growth. Keep going, your toughest times craft the strongest you!
External validation is awesome, it's also not up to us. We place expectations on how others will respond to what we do, but if you really want fulfillment it NEEDS to be from doing something that you want. We can't expect the praise before we've done the thing. So do it for you!
One of the biggest mistakes we can make is only ever doing what we FEEL like doing. Most things in life will require choices in service to goals that aren't instantly gratifying. Please don't give up the things you want most for the things you want right now. Trust your effort!
When we chase the positive feelings we've had in the past we limit our ability to be present & can deny ourselves movement towards our future. This doesn't mean we can't have a fondness of good memories only that we shouldn't fixate or hold onto things that have gone. Be present!
Dissapointment is an important corrective device. It gives us valuable feedback of our set expectations. However, it is important to keep perspective. While it's natural & healthy to feel dissapointment we should direct it at situations, not use it as fuel to beat ourselves up.
We are more sensitive to the bad things than the good. All the good in the world can be going on but when 1 bad thing happens we often fixate on it. Find gratitude everyday. This doesn't mean ignore the bad, but don't let the bad parts keep you from seeing the beauty in your life
We get better at difficult things only when we choose not to give up when we are still bad at them. Intentional effort in the midst of challenge is how we grow. Keep going! Don't quit just because it hasn't clicked just yet, the hard part is where it matters most!
