#GeniusHour is a time for John McCandless students to show their creativity while seeing #STEM concepts in action! Last week, 2nd Graders used cardboard, popsicle sticks and paper towel tubes to build bridges. This was a fun way for Owls to learn about the engineering process!
Do you know what elephants brush their teeth with? You can make it with hydrogen peroxide, yeast, dish soap, food coloring and water. In Ms. Kinser’s class this month, our 4th Graders got to try this experiment out to see energy and reactions firsthand! #elephanttoothpaste#STEM

JMC families got a tour of our many great United States! This morning, 5th Graders shared their State Projects with students, parents and staff. Visiting Owls learned about the history, culture, wildlife and most famous residents of South Carolina, Georgia, New York and more.
