Bestselling author Alan Gratz captivated our students as he described his research process in writing historical fiction novels. Mr. Gratz also spent time speaking invdividually with students while signing books. Thank you Scholastic Book Fairs for sponsoring his visit.

What an exciting day everyone had at the Debate Tournament at JM on Saturday! Thanks to the support and help from so many parents and students, the day went very smoothly, although it was incredibly busy and fast paced!

Admin visited all 6th graders yesterday to answer questions & give a few reminders. We asked, "What is your highlight so far about JM?" Students said they like meeting new friends, moving classes, choosing where to eat lunch, a longer recess, School Loop, & more freedom. #JMIS
Ms. Moose & Ms. Larson (Moraga's Art Department) host the opening reception of the Art Ambassadors exhibit at the Orinda Library of student artwork from both Lafayette and Moraga students.
JM 8th grade team participated in the Odyssey of the Mind tournament & placed 1st in the San Francisco Bay region. They will advance to the state competition held at UC Riverside on March 24th. Congrats to Daniel, Madison, Marshall, Olivia, Caroline, Jacqui & Amrita!
