HS Baseball Players βΎοΈ
Iβve been around this game a long time, and somethingβs changed...
Weβre losing respect for the game.
β’ Chirping after every pitch.
β’ Celebrating routine plays like itβs Game 7
β’ Trying to embarrass opponents instead of beating them.
Thatβs not toughness. Thatβs insecurity. π―
Somewhere along the way, being loud became more important than being good.
And the worst part? Itβs being allowed.
When I came upβ¦
β’ You showed up early.
β’ You handled your business.
β’ You played hard.
β’ You shut your mouth.
β’ If you had something to sayβ¦
you said it with performance.
β’ And if lines were ever crossed, the players took care of it.
The truth: π
β’ Baseball is hard.
β’ Youβre going to fail.
β’ Youβre going to struggle.
β’ The game doesnβt need more noiseβ¦
β’ It needs more respect.
β’ Nobody remembers who chirped.
β’ They remember who showed up.
β’ Who competed.
β’ Who handled adversity.
β’ Who left the game better than they found it.
Want to separate yourself?
Stop talking. Start working.
Respect the game.
