That’d go to the government in taxes. The government would have 300+ million users to negotiate with healthcare corps on pricing.

@purplehead5 @abierkhatib Did you see me blame any one political group? It’s a system every administration has led too. I’m saying the whole thing needs to be reworked from top to bottom. And yeah I can afford my medical care. I make decent money. But there are tens of millions that can’t.

@purplehead5 @abierkhatib That’s a tenth of the country! And just being insured doesn’t mean you can afford the healthcare! Just going to the doctor for a checkup with my insurance can be $100 out of my pocket.

@purplehead5 @abierkhatib What’s the point of that if getting sick can ruin your finances. People avoid the doctor when they need it because costs are so high. We basically subsidize other countries healthcare because the corporations here have government approval to squeeze everything out of us.

We get more debt, we’re already doing that but not taking care of every day citizens. Does the attempt to better lives scare you?
