I need to let my X friends know now that I’ve been diagnosed with ALS, which currently affects my walking. It is the same that took my mother’s life 30 years ago. I’m under the care of Emory and the Mayo Clinic.

The Atlanta #bofavolunteers were honored with the @CVCofAtlanta 2022 Corporate Program of the Year IMPACT Award on Tuesday. We were recognized for our support of 147 community organizations with financial literacy training.

The My Environment Georgia #BofAVolunteers team were back volunteering @OaklandCemetery on their 2nd Saturday gardening. Teams landscaped around the bell tower, which is under renovation. We helped remove a hedge of a dozen large Rosemary bushes.

Just completed my last volunteer tree planting with @TreesAtlanta for the 2021! These were 3 yard trees planted in @SandySpringsGA. It started to pour rain as I was spreading the last mulch, so no need to water!

It was a pleasant cool run down Peachtree the morning for the first day of the 52nd running of the Peachtree Road Race 10K. The @ATLTrackClub did a fantastic job of pacing groups out and providing safe options for water. @AJCPRR #RunningCityUSA #PRRStartFinish

This morning I helped @TreesAtlanta plants trees on the streets near Southview Cemetery. The event was well attended by volunteers and we planted over 50 trees. I demonstrated by planting the first tree.

We’re 1/2 way through our vacation in my favorite state. It was great spending time with our daughter Bennett. We had fun and food in Portsmouth and Newburyport, MA. Now it’s on to Wolfeboro!
