Two-year-old Annelise Camp wandered away from a family gathering on Memorial Day and was found unconscious at the bottom of a hotel swimming pool.
Her father performed CPR and she was taken to Texas Children’s Hospital in critical condition. Initially she was very unstable, but now her family sees signs of improvement.
But to obtain further care, the family has had to seek a court injunction to prevent doctors from declaring Annelise “brain dead” and removing her from life support.
I’m glad the family is getting legal advice: the American Academy of Neurology’s brain death guideline is unverified and does NOT comply with US law under the Uniform Determination of Death Act (UDDA).
The UDDA law requires the irreversible cessation of all functions of the entire brain including the brain stem.
But the AAN guideline explicitly allows brain death to be declared in the presence of ongoing brain function.
Annelise is a critically injured but very much alive little girl. With further treatment she may or may not improve, but being disabled does not make her “as good as dead.”
People diagnosed “brain dead” are neither biologically dead nor dead under the law that defines death.
Living people should not be declared to be dead.
Today is our 37th wedding anniversary. When I picked Angel, I picked the perfect girl for me. God sent her to me. I love her more than I did the day I married her. Happy Anniversary punkin!
Wishing everyone a peaceful night.

Jesus Christ said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
Jesus Christ is the only path to God - there are not multiple paths. He is the only Way.
VERSE OF THE DAY - REFLECTION
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles…”
~ Isaiah 40: 31
Waiting can be one of the hardest parts of life. Patience isn’t always easy. It’s certainly not for me.
Waiting for healing.
Waiting for answers.
Waiting for peace after a painful season. In those moments, it is easy to feel exhausted and discouraged.
But this verse reminds us that strength is renewed when our hope is rooted in God.
Not temporary strength.
Not strength we have to force on our own.
But deep, steady strength that comes from trusting Him even when the road feels long.
God sees the weariness you carry.
He sees the silent prayers.
And He promises that you will not stay weak forever.
Sometimes renewal happens slowly, one day at a time. But God is still working, even in the waiting.
What is something you are trusting God to strengthen you through right now?
Calling all Prayer Warriors!
Pray for me and the Prison Ministry.
The Devil is trying to stop us from getting these Bibles into the prison and jails.
I’m believing God that “no weapon formed against us will prosper.”
We don’t need money. We need divine favor to fix a miscommunication that is impacting us.
Will you pray?

Hey y'all! IF you believe in the power of prayer please take a moment and send up a prayer today for my son in law Justin as he's in he middle of round 2 treatment with this hateful stage 4 gioblastoma. Also, pray for strength for my daughter Kady and the kids! Thank YOU!
My fellow Christians, when people are hateful to you on this app, don’t respond in anger. Don’t answer hate with hate.
Pray for them. They need Jesus just like we all do.
And then block or mute them.
But most importantly, pray for their souls.
The U.S. military was the last redoubt the leftists needed to conquer to control our society.
They almost did it. Under Obama/Biden they turned the Pentagon into the Alamo. The DEI Marxists were swarming the walls, and a lot of them got inside the perimeter.
A LOT OF THEM.
But unlike the Alamo, this time reinforcements came in the nick of time.
The military was the last institution they needed to conquer to achieve total Marxist dominance over our entire nation.
THEY WERE SO CLOSE.
But then Pete Hegseth and his team came riding over the hill, defeated the attackers, and drove off the ones who got inside the walls.
The fact that they were so close to having it all, only to lose it all, is why we see so much wailing and gnashing of teeth today from the Pentagon “press.”
It’s glorious.
O’Lord, our Heavenly Father, we come to You at the close of this blessed day to give You thanks and seek Your presence. Please come and fill us with Your Holy Spirit, and remove all troubling thoughts and fear. We recognize that so much is out of control in this world. David wrote in Psalms “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.” Let our faith be strong, deeply rooted and declare our hope and trust in You alone. Open our eyes to see the wondrous things of Your word and open our lips, that we may daily defend Your truth and proclaim Your praise. Father, support us all the day long, until the shadows lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is silent and the toils of life is over and our work is done, and then Lord, in thy mercy grant us a safe lodging, a holy rest, and peace at last, through Jesus Christ, our Savior, Amen 🙏✝️
Psalm 73: 26
“My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”
