The third member of the Adapted PE Academy we’d like to highlight for our #SpeakerSpotlight series is Meredith Morton! Meredith is nationally certified in Adapted Physical Education and has been teaching for 14 years!

Jillian is a Certified Adapted Physical Education Specialist (CAPE) who has been teaching in LCPS for the last 15 years. She provides support and consults with both General and Adapted PE teachers to provide quality services for the students in LCPS!

As part of our #SpeakerSpotlight series, we would also like to introduce you to Jillian Lauer! Jillian is the co-chair of the Adapted PE Academy and is currently the Lead Adapted Physical Education (APE) Teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools.

Sheila has been a presenter and chair of the JMU CTA for five years, has presented at the VAHPERD Convention, JMU Health and Physical Activity Institute, and Shape America National Convention. Register for the Content Teaching Academy today!

Sheila has a plethora of experience, having worked as the Educational Coordinator at the Episcopal Center for Children in Washington, DC and as an Adapted PE teacher for 11 years at the Phillips Programs in Annandale, VA.
