Helping YouTubers turned their channels into sustainable businesses through email marketing. | YouTube + Email = Freedom | Christian | Father | #onebrickaday
You keep making videos.
I'll do the rest.
You've got a YouTube channel. A product or service. A growing audience.
And you’re making some money.
But you know your channel could be more than just a content engine, it could be a sustainable business that gives you freedom.
You’ve heard email marketing can help, but:
• You’re already maxed out with content creation
• YouTube is your passion, not learning email.
That's where I come in...
Phase 1️⃣: The Content Audit
I’ll scour your channel to uncover an email capture idea that your audience will love, based on content you’ve already made.
Phase 2️⃣: The Email System
I’ll craft a high-converting landing page and a set of high-value emails that nurture your subscribers and lead them to your paid products—automatically.
Phase 3️⃣: The Launch
You keep making videos. Your list grows on autopilot. New subscribers get introduced to you and nurtured into customers—without you lifting a finger.
💡 Bonus: Want to grow beyond YouTube? I can also turn your videos into engaging posts for LinkedIn & X to scale your ideas cross-platform.
Creators I’ve helped:
💰 From Scattered Sales to a Scalable System (500K-Subscriber YouTuber/Course Creator)
✅ 41.8% revenue growth in the first month—adding nearly $4,000 in additional monthly sales
✅ Best revenue months ever since launching courses
✅ Fully automated sales funnel that nurtures & converts subscribers on autopilot
"Before working with JM, my promotions were sporadic, and I was missing opportunities to upsell my courses. Now, I have an evergreen email system that consistently turns subscribers into paying customers—without extra effort on my part. If you're on the fence, work with him. You’ll see results."
🎥 Building a Stronger Fanbase (300K-Subscriber YouTuber)
Not selling anything? No problem. I helped a creator with 300K subscribers build a 3-day email series that introduces new subscribers to his channel, story, and best content—turning casual viewers into long-term fans.
📩 Capturing High-Ticket Leads (13K-Subscriber YouTuber/Consultant)
A niche YouTuber selling consulting & courses needed a way to capture & nurture leads. I built a landing page + 5-day email series that brought in new, engaged subscribers:
"JM is a professional, proactive consultant who treated my business like his own. He asked the right questions, kept the project moving, and executed flawlessly. Highly recommend."

Mr. Beast likened creating on YouTube to “running on a treadmill cranked to the max.”
Sounds exhausting, right? Thankfully, there’s another way.
Since YouTube is an algorithm-driven platform, the more you upload, the more momentum it builds for you.
But unfortunately, that works both ways.
If you stop, the algorithm “slows down”.
And so does your reach.
Miss a few uploads or life gets hectic for a month and your views drop.
And if you’re a fulltime creator, if your views take a hit, so does your income.
Mr. Beast said, “It’s about who can stay on the treadmill the longest.”
But I disagree.
I don’t think you have to stay on the treadmill at all.
I recently wrapped up a project with a YouTube client who had his best revenue month in the past year…even though he hasn’t uploaded a new video in over a month!
How?
He detached his income from YouTube.
While ads and affiliate revenue still come in, they’re no longer the main focus. Instead, he uses YouTube as a marketing tool to feed a system that generates revenue off of YouTube.
This approach means he has the freedom to create the content he wants, when he wants, without worrying about the algorithm or his income dipping.
If you want a sustainable, less stressful creator business that isn’t tied to the treadmill, this is the way forward.
So, where are you in your YouTube journey?
Still on the treadmill, or building something that lasts?
@gavinortlund Following up here. I got your latest newsletter. It's great!
But I bet many people sign up and are expecting a confirmation email. It would help people know that their sign up was successful.
@gavinortlund@gavinortlund Hey man, can't tell if this form is working.
It looks like you're using wordpress and Elementor for the form. See if other submissions are coming through.
Let me know if not and I can propose a few solutions.
@PaddyG96 You think it's possible to create a niche channel with under 50 videos but all evergreen content that would continually generate leads for a service business?
HUGE recent win for a YouTuber client:
4000 new email subscribers
42% Revenue Increase
And it's only the first 30 days...
His 5 day email course will continue to gain new subscribers and customers on autopilot....forever.
@gavinortlund I was wondering if you had a newsletter.
You could get more sign ups by giving the newsletter form it's own landing page. You could then add that link in your YouTube bio so more people see it!
How I'm applying @AlexHormozi's advice on picking a good market to my own side hustle:
In short, his advice is to pick a market that has these 4 qualities:
1. Pain
2. Purchasing Power
3. Easy to Target
4. Growing
So let's start with my chosen market.
So all in all, I'd say that this is a good market based on Hormozi's criteria.
If I had to pick a weak point, it would be that for a channel to have enough pain that they want email marketing help, they might not be making a TON of money, so I might not be able to charge a premium for my services.
But this is something I'll test.
I recently completed an email project for a client.
I was down on myself with its performance, until I dove into the numbers...
The project was an "educational email course". Essentially, sign up to get 5 emails teaching you something.
Here are the stats to date:
Traffic to Landing Page: 222 views
Conversions: 20
Conversion Rate: 9%
Email Open Rates:
Email #1: 55%
Email #2: 50%
Email #3: 61%
Email #4: 59%
Email #5: 52%
I was down on myself because he wasn't getting a lot of new email subscribers, in an absolute sense (20 new subs).
But when I realized that there were only 222 views on the page, that changed my view.
Remember to gauge your success in % and not absolutes!

This resonates with me because I'm a perfectionist and don't like failing.
I want to do an excellent job, always.
But learning something new requires you to fail, a lot.
So I guess I better get used to it!
