Thanks @JArthroplasty for highlighting our study on selective bladder scanning for postop urinary retention after #TKA and #THA @RothmanOrtho @DrChadKrueger

The protocol had a higher rate of same day DC, fewer bladder scans, and didn't lead to increased rates of urinary-related complications. Selective bladder scanning for sx patients can be safely instituted for #TJA.
