Five years from now, someone will post: "Remember when people thought holding BTC with no yield strategy was acceptable treasury management?"
And it'll get the same reaction as "remember when people thought $100 BTC was expensive."

Web2 metrics do not respresent how web3 feels
Flow on effect from web2->web3 are based on assumptions and so far onchain metrics and KPI's simply do not show a great conversion rate that web2 is doing much for web3.
Pudgy should lead, disrupt and innovate how web3 returns value
I really dislike the idea that focusing on “web2” is somehow bad for NFT holders.
Having an IP that succeeds beyond our niche and reaches a mainstream audience is nothing but good for the long term. That success creates more opportunities to reward and include the core community. More revenue. More leverage. More ways to do things for holders that matter.
Now if that’s ALL a team is doing and web3 community are mostly forgotten, I get the concern and agree. Every team deals with this balance to some extent. What matters long term is genuine alignment between the team and community, and figuring out what that looks like for you.
It should not look exactly the same for every brand or what’s the point.
