Does anyone understand why Section 219 should be an absolute fucking NO in Congress, and do you understand the major implications if it passes?

It will literally become federal law, and it will be almost impossible to reverse.

Our tax dollars will fund the weapons, but Israel gets to co-own them and use them wherever and whenever they want—Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, etc., etc., etc. This is in addition to the $3.3 billion we already give Israel every year in military aid.

If Israel wants more, they won’t have to get congressional approval. The money will be pulled directly out of the Pentagon’s main $1.15 trillion baseline military budget as needed—the budget American taxpayers fund.

Israel will be able to legally block the U.S. from giving weapons to other American allies, like Ukraine.

We will lose our sovereignty. The U.S. will be giving up control of our military technology to a foreign nation while American citizens foot the bill.

Over 60% of Americans have an unfavorable view of Israel.

Only 15% of Americans have a favorable view of Congress.

And we’re going to let them push this through?

They all are, however what happened to him was not ok nor is it justifiable period. Allowing random settlers who aren't even supposed to be settling there in the first place stopped, harassed, and attempted to intimidate a member of congress who comes from the country that pays for everything they have.
