Big12 gets NCAA Selection Committee’s “first team out” honor 3 years running:

2025 WVU
2024 OU
2023 OkSt
(Plus 2022 honorable mention to OU as 2nd team left out)

Now OU is in the SEC, so going 6-12 in conf = a 9 seed

I believe this is what they call “moving the goalposts”

I don’t think the powers that be are even trying to hide their disdain of the Big12 & bias towards the SEC/Big10 anymore

Love the committee’s 2023 quote of OkSt “only going 6-12 in Quad1 games” as a reason for exclusion in light of them just letting in UNC (SEC/Big10 member-in-waiting) who is 1-12 in Quad 1 games
