A few years back, an incredibly skilled and respected teacher and mentor of mine did his last case. I asked him how he felt about a week later and he replied “I haven’t slept so well in 50 years.”

@NavyTimes Shows the importance of the Reserves - the active components are experts in most military occupations, but now reservists in military medicine are much more experienced - especially in trauma care - than the active component. I’d have hated that statement when I was active.
