👑☀️ First glimpse of the Royal Family at Gråsten Palace.
On the palace steps, the King and Queen were joined by Prince Gustav and Princess Carina’s children, Prince Gustav Albrecht and Princess Mafalda. Queen Mary and Prince Gustav were both dressed in tennis attire, while King Frederik enjoyed the relaxed summer atmosphere in Gråsten.
The Royal Family is spending part of their summer holiday at Gråsten Palace, where the traditional changing of the Royal Guard will take place today in front of a large local crowd.

🥹👑❤️ Dad and his little princess.
They are just so adorable together. I absolutely love seeing Fred in dad mode; the way he looks at Josephine and always keeps an eye on her is simply heart-melting. These little moments are so precious. ✨

🥹❤️👑 The romantics…
As the band plays “Close to You,” Mary, as if by instinct, finds herself standing right beside Frederik. Because, in the end, her favourite place always seems to be by his side. These two are simply adorable. 🥺✨

🎒💙👑 Mary was completely in her element.
The Queen participated today in Billund in the preparation of backpacks for children who arrive at reception centers with one of their parents, an initiative promoted by the Mary Foundation, the Ole Kirk Foundation, LEGO Charity and LOKK.
At the packing table with Agnete Kirk Kristiansen and Camilla Kirk Kristiansen, Mary was personally involved in this important task, which since 2008 has allowed the distribution of about 40,000 backpacks to children who are going through especially difficult times ❤️
And you could tell how proud she was of this project. It is not for less: behind each backpack there is a small gesture of support, security and hope for a child who needs it.
These types of acts perfectly reflect the work that the Queen has been doing for years through the Mary Foundation: focus on the most vulnerable and help create a slightly friendlier start for those who go through complicated situations 🥹✨

👑✨ Queen Mary shared a few words following the inauguration of the final Dodekalitten sculpture in Lolland.
When asked what it was like to be there for such a special occasion, Her Majesty replied:
💬 “It is a great day. Today, the final sculpture was inaugurated, marking the completion of the series. It is an impressive and very moving work of art, and I am sure many people will enjoy it.”
And honestly, it is hard to disagree. Dodekalitten is a unique project that beautifully combines art, landscape and culture.
An important day for Lolland and for this remarkable artistic landmark, which is now complete ✨🤍

👑✨ Overlooking the Småland Strait, Queen Mary inaugurated today the twelfth and last sculpture of Dodekalitten, thus completing an extraordinary artistic project that began more than fifteen years ago.
Located in Kragenæs, north of Lolland, Dodekalitten - which means “Thwelve Stones” in Greek - is inspired by ancient stone circles and consists of twelve impressive granite sculptures between seven and nine meters high.
The day included words of welcome, collective singing, musical performances and several speeches before the name of the last sculpture was revealed: Ymrir 🪨✨
This piece also has a very special feature: it is the only one of the twelve sculptures made of Greenland granite.
The construction of Dodekalitten began in 2009 and, with today’s inauguration, the monument is officially completed. A nice historical detail is that Queen Margarita inaugurated the third sculpture of the set in 2016, while now it is Queen Mary who has had the honor of completing this extraordinary artistic work ❤️
A historic day for Lolland, for Danish art and for one of the most unique cultural projects in the country.

As the only sculptures, Ymrir is made of Greenlandic granite. The construction began in 2009 and is now complete with today's unveiling. Her Majesty Queen Margrethe inaugurated the monument's then third stone sculpture in 2016.

“The other day I shot this film while I was up at the Chancellery. It shows a small part of our wild garden. I thought it would be fun to share how the garden changes as the weather slowly moves towards summer.”
