@MeaneyJim @acoyne Billions, 1 estimate is approx. 8 billion; not including the work hours employees are forced to waste trying to report overpayments and trying to receive pay when they don't get any at all. Over 1000 extra employees hired to 'stabilize' it, all still needed b/c it's unstable AF.
@GordJohns It's a load of nonsense, they reply Anita Anand gave - I received incorrect pay yet again just last week and Pay Centre said they could not fix it, it takes them months to years to sort out every single error. Costing millions-billions on the way.
Conservatives' for-profit Phoenix pay system, was supposed to save over $80M. Instead it has cost over $2B and does not even work. This has hurt workers like Tina in my riding, a dedicated public servant for 30 years, who has been missing pay for years.1/2

Evening @Starlink today I received a Starlink unit in BC, Canada - I was so excited, but opened the box to find it dirty, used and broken - So I submitted a ticket on your app which your staff shut in 1 minute flat denying me a fix! Is the crappy client service intentional?
@BCGovNews Is this meant to a joke? Or ironic? Many classes have no sink (let alone multiple sinks for up to 30-40 kids to wash hands multiple times a day without the day coming to a standstill) and ALL classrooms will have far more than the 6 kids shown in this video-this video is a lie.
@MarcGarneau As their clients we are not responsible for carrying the privately owned airline's losses like shareholders and investors. Companies are never made to share their profits with consumers - so how is it at all legal to make us carry their corporate losses now?
@MarcGarneau I'm a frontline and essential worker, with an out of work husband, and the airlines are getting a Govt. sanctioned 24 months interest-free loan from me, against my will - it's money my family really needs now to keep food on our table.
@MarcGarneau How about helping us get refunds from Canadian Airlines? Air Canada messed up my itinerary beyond repair, including changing my flight to depart 3400 kms away from where I booked it for. They cancelled my flight and now hold my money hostage-services paid for but never delivered.
@AirCanada Funny-I was hit hard by you Air Canada...I might have been sympathetic to your plight if you didn't change my departure city by 3500 kms, insist cancelled flights were my fault, promise me an awful voucher you won't provide proof of and withhold my money from me. Crappy service!
Nonsense, utter nonsense. Didn't pay me properly for almost 3 years. Lost my childcare spot over it, sold a car over it, began looking for a second job over it. Now I'm just OVER IT. Treasury Board Secretariat is only committed to one thing-not paying out any fair compensation.
@PSPC_SPAC @AlexBenay Understood, glad that pay backlog transactions are going down rather than up, but reducing by only 6000 transactions monthly, while still dealing with incoming regular transactions, it will take about 4 years to clear the 283,000 file backlog. Why can't more humans be hired?
@psacnat@ceiuseic Where WAS this Campaign on Canada Day? I'm seriously asking. I'm in BC on the west coast, and we saw ZERO out here in news or at offices re: this campaign. Is it live yet?
@s_malcolmson I will. Thank you. I was underpaid again this week, along with several hundred of my colleagues. PSPC knew there was a new problem and told our Department, but zero affected staff were told to expect this unperpaid payday. Everyone is depressed at work and angry.
Tomorrow I'm not getting a full paycheck again thanks to Phoenix. Last month I sold my car to make ends meet, Pay Centre still owes me thousands but I'm being threatened with clawbacks. Tomorrow, I am starting a hunger strike. I'm done crying every night @s_malcolmson
@JustinTrudeau For shame - You do not stand up enough for Canadian workers. I am one of your nearly 300,000 Public Servants whom your Pay system routinely underpays. I was underpaid AGAIN this week. Over 2+ years your lack of interest in fixing my pay has cost me my car and nearly my home.
