@NikiTheBaker He looked at the bird. He wished it didn't hate him. But he was consistantly a a hateable person, so he shouldn't be too surprised.

Jack was walking aimlessly round he server. Not knowing what to do, just knowing is that frankly, he was bored. He had been in the hotel for days- weeks even- doing nothing but talking to nobody except the annoying red headed lady that always seemed to bother him.

@NikiTheBaker Jack thought about it for a second. 'Oh. Yeah, I suppose he doesn't, does he? I hardly noticed. I just remembered he had them." He stood up along with her. "Yep! I'm ready."

@NikiTheBaker "This good?" He asked, showing the emptied box.

@NikiTheBaker Jack sputtered. "Well- Well I- I didn't /mean/ to!" He said, the words coming out in a slightly affronted mess. But even so, he did as Niki asked, dumping the cookies out. (But not before he had snatched one away into his pocket for later)

@NikiTheBaker "Is that a-" He looked closer. It was. "Oh, look, Niki." He said. "It's a bird over there."

The bird was only a few feet ahead of them and to the left, but it was small enough to not notice at first. And It was moving, so it wasn't dead.

@NikiTheBaker Jacks eyes widened. "What do you mean, a surprise coma? Comas don't just- just- /happen/ do they? You're telling me you just went into a coma and-" He cut himself off, stopping dead in his tracks.

@NikiTheBaker Part of him wanted to say something snide in response to the last thing. But part of him understood. He knew he wasn't very memorable.

@NikiTheBaker Jack awkwardly wrung his hands as they walked. "It's.. Everything has been fine. Nothing much has been happening." He grimaced a bit. "Well, at least as much as people have told me. No one really tells me anything."

@NikiTheBaker But when she said the last words, his heart gave a pang, and warmed. "I- of course were friends! I mean, if you have her memories its just like normal, you know? Well. Sort of normal. Not really but normal enough."

@NikiTheBaker "Ah." He said, a bit coldly, in response to that.

He didn't really know what to think about the rest. "I- it's a bit strange, isnt it?" He said.

@NikiTheBaker "I don't- I don't-" He said, stammering. "I- What do you mean, exactly? You're either from the past or you aren't"

@NikiTheBaker Jacks face fell. So it was more of this bullshit. "Oh." He said, trying to not sound too dejected. If this Niki was from the past- then they probably weren't as close as they were here.

@NikiTheBaker "Wow, Niki. You really did start to bake again." He said, recalling the conversation they had when she mentioned it. He wasn't sure what to think. If anything, he was confused. But he saw no wrong by her reverting back to.. whatever she was doing, really. He was just confused.

@NikiTheBaker "Niki, your hair." He said. "You- went back to the old one." His eyes widened as he realized how that may sound. "Not- not that it's bad! Just- I just noticed it." He said.

He looked around the room. It was a bakery. Kind of like the one she had in lmanburg before...
