Have to get Jokiharju (or Harris) in the lineup for game two. We’ve had enough of a sample size to see that Peeke is a weak link in Boston’s defense. They’re much better off with a puck-moving defender (Jokiharju) who can actually make plays and carry pucks up ice. #NHLBruins

@calph7 It would have been at least 2-0 in the first period without Swayman. Buffalo upped the pressure and possession throughout the 3rd. He was the only thing keeping them in that game and nearly stole it.

This would be like expecting Maye to win the SB despite the OL not showing up

@calph7 8/9 from high danger areas. .919 save percentage last night. That’s higher than every goalie in the NHL regular season except 1.

Aside from a 5 min stretch late in the first, Bs got dominated from a possession standpoint. He kept them in it longer than they should have been.

@calph7 He was great, the defense blew it. Boston “fans” that don’t know hockey always blame the goalie. This is Tuukka all over again. He made a dozen saves in the first 50 minutes of the game that bailed the defense out. If you want more from your goalie, you’re not going to find it.
