@Sparkling_Aria Depends on the audience you build. The people who complain about Hwei are not the same people who wanted more diversity in game design from Riot, and Riot consistently went for the simplified way, so ofc they'd complain if someone with Solomon's complexity dropped in League

@gmzcharlotte @DumbsYT Its a whole team to make the characters, the can only do so much till it reaches management. Have you seen some of Riot's artists pre-exploration of the characters? They are *amazing*, and almost all of them become increasingly disinteresting as the process goes along.

The moment a monster champ gets strong, their skin sales skyrocket

They *could* go back to making great characters, they just don't want to. Despite having 173 characters, most recycle similar design principles *because* Riot caters to the lowest common denominator. Riot would never have Baba for example
