Minister for @MRMDFiji Hon. @ISeruiratu commissioned the Navuso Water Project yesterday which was funded under the Ministry’s Self-Help Programme.
This is expected to address some major water issues faced by the school.
Minister @ISeruiratu addressed members of the Ministry’s Senior Management Board during their meeting today.
He acknowledged the contribution of the Ministry’s staff members & encouraged all to continue with the good work being undertaken for the betterment of our #RuralFijians.
Your @MRMDFiji team based in the Central Division had been closely working with @waf_fiji this past week to ensure rural schools facing water issues in the division were supplied with adequate clean & safe drinking water.

Truly encouraging to know that this investment by the @FijianGovt will not only improve accessibility for more than 30 families of Nakida, but will also open up new markets for the villagers - allowing them to diversify into other agricultural products apart from just yaqona.

Funded under the @MRMDFiji’s CARFF Prog,the Nakida Access Road is expected to improve accessibility for more than 180 #RuralFijians
Nakida is located in the hinterlands of Naitasiri & is currently only accessible by foot or bamboo raft

A joint Govt team led by PA Namosi & PA Naitasiri recently returned from a 14-hr journey by foot from Wainimakutu-Nasava-Sawanikula,crossing the Namosi & Naitasiri borders to:
➡️survey possible road access routes
➡️assess economic potentials
➡️conduct empowerment to #RuralFijians
A 2-day workshop focused on the review & strengthening of @MRMDFiji's #RID practices concluded in Suva today.
Supported by the #UNDP#Gov4Res Project, discussions included learning from a year of implementing risk informed community projects that have improved lives in #RuralFiji
