We just received very sad news from Perth Zoo - 9yr old Western Ground Parrot Fifi has died due to reproductive complications leaving the Zoo with a total of 8 of the critically endangered birds in captivity.

Cleaning stations like this one are reducing the spread of diseases like dieback by removing contaminated soil from the boots of bushwalkers. This station is protecting threatened species like the Granite Banksia and Feather-leaved Banksia on WA's remarkable South Coast.
