First, the special election itself will cost us at least $282 million. That’s money that could be spent on schools, safety, and housing.

Second, raising taxes on businesses, especially small businesses, will make just about everything in California even more expensive. In the last six years the California state budget has grown from $200 billion to nearly $350 billion. Did you feel like government got $150 billion better?

We need more money to protect Californians from Trump cuts. But let’s start by cutting waste and making government more efficient.

So, your doctor ordered a test or treatment and your insurance company denied it. That is a typical cost saving method.

OK, here is what you do:

1. Call the insurance company and tell them you want to speak with the "HIPAA Compliance/Privacy Officer"
(By federal law, they have to have one)

2. Then ask them for the NAMES as well as
CREDENTIALS of every person accessing your record to make that decision of denial.

By law you have a right to that information.

3. They will almost always reverse the decision very shortly rather than admit that the committee is made of low paid HS graduates, looking at "criteria words." making the medical decision to deny your care.
Even in the rare case it is made by medical personnel, it is unlikely that it is made by a board certified doctor in that specialty and they DO NOT WANT YOU TO KNOW THIS!!

4. Any refusal should be reported to the US Office of Civil

I think some people don’t really understand the economics of what they want. I think @jackmallers says it best, that the US is in a crunch, they need to inflate their debt away, and by using Bitcoin as the release valve, we can debase the dollar against Bitcoin, which really keeps inflation down. So the dollar becomes less valuable as a global reserve currency, but prices at home don’t get affected much. And the reason is because of Bitcoin, it’s a sponge. If that printed money doesn’t end up in the goods and services sector, then prices won’t rise. If it ends up in Bitcoin, the Bitcoin rises instead.
