Look, I’m old school. While I think players should get paid something, this is still a business. No employee of any company gets paid the same as the company or C-Suite.
College athletes are a blip in time. Every one of them are replaceable. No QB in college is worth $5M. The pros are where you prove your worth.
College markets are only what they are b/c of audience magnitudes. A few millionaires give to boosters. Real billionaires buy NFL teams.
I think she is a great tennis player, but stop trying to be Venus and Serena!
Flashy screams I’m desperate for attention because my performance isn’t going to do it.
Breaking: 23-time major title winner Serena Williams is officially making her comeback to professional tennis. Williams will play doubles next week at the HSBC Championships, the tournament announced.
“Heavenly Father, give me strength, wisdom, and peace. Guide my steps, protect my heart, and help me trust You in every situation. Fill my life with Your grace, love, and purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” 🙏❤️
The NCAA says Brendan Sorsby's college career should end for betting on his own team's games.
According to court filings, the NCAA argues no major U.S. sports league has allowed an athlete who bet on their own team to continue competing. https://t.co/p5AQZQ5eVz
Even after transferring to Texas Tech, Sorsby transferred money to others to place bets for him while in Texas - a state where sports wagering is illegal, the NCAA says.
Sorsby “serially and repeatedly violated” association rules.
In an appeal filed today to the NCAA to reinstate Brendan Sorsby's eligibility, Texas Tech recommends that the association suspend the QB two games.
If the NCAA pursues the max penalty, "future athletes will be disincentivized from seeking the help they desperately need."
BEN SHELTON UPSET AT THE FRENCH OPEN 😳
Shelton, the highest-ranked American men's tennis player, was defeated by Raphael Collignon in straight sets in the second round.
@ChittomTin10643@RealBrittHughes I agree to the end of your post.
Let’s compare Universal which is more of an amusement park. Disney is for people younger than 10. I also don’t want to spend $$$$$ for that one place.
