England were frustrated in a 0-0 draw with Ghana on Tuesday.
@SamWallaceTel breaks down the key talking points from the game in Boston ๐

How in Gods name is this not a penalty? What is the VAR in Boston doing? Ghana was not offside either.
This is robbery. Missed the Pickford foul too. Ghana are getting robbed.
First referee shocker of the tournament and of course it involves England.
Why even invite Africian teams to the #FIFAworldCup of your not gonna give them a fair chance to win!!!
If I was coaching Ghana I would have took my team off the pitch after that non PK call. #WC26
Genuine question: am I going insane? That Konsa tackle on Adu* is the most red card penalty red card foul that has ever taken place and it's like nobody is talking about it. Did I miss something
Yes, that should have been a penalty to Ghana after Konsa lunged at Adu with a flying tackle, the attacker was onside and Konsa did not get a touch on the ball.
The offside call on Semenyo took place after the foul. No VAR intervention is abysmal
Massive respect for Ghana.
I don't think anyone expected much from them in this tournament. They were one of the lowest-ranked teams at the World Cup, yet they still managed to get 4 points, including forcing England and all their stars into a draw.
Sure, they played what you call "haram football", but considering the gap in quality, what else can you realistically expect from them?
Defending deep and trying to grind out a result was always their best chance, and they executed it brilliantly. An absolutely monstrous defensive performance.
And this two-footed, aerial challenge on Prince Adu in which Ezri Konsa got precisely none of the ball was not a foul - according to the Honduran referee.
