"That's good, at least. Had me worried for a second -"
He let's out a little laugh, glancing towards that arm again. Time to ask.
"Are you going to tell me why you're hiding your arm -"
It was a... long story. But he's happy to see him, too.
"It's good to see you, too. And I'm sure Mabel will be happy to see you, too. But she has... changed a bit. You'll be surprised when you see her."
Ran away? He decided not to push further for now. After all, he was still happy to see the boy.
"Well, though I'm upset you didn't tell me. It's good to see you. And eventually Mabel knowing her-"
"Well... I more so ran away... here .ᐣ"
He chuckles nervously a bit under his great uncle's gaze.
"But it was all a spur of the moment thing for both me and Mabel. Sorry."
"No, not really."
He laughs, even feeling like a kid again for just a moment at the head pats.
"Yeah, for sure. I've... been in Gravity Falls for a while now. Mabel also moved here recently. To my surprise."
"You figured it would be different?"
He said with a lighthearted chuckle, hand raising to now pat the others head. Still a child to Ford.
"Twenty already? Time sure flies-"
"Ah, same as always then."
He chuckles, his sleeves hiding said tattoos. Ford doesn't need to see them... especially with what they are.
"It's been a few... yyyyears. I'm twenty now."
"As far as I know, good. Though he doesn't always tell me things-"
He watched the other attempt to hide something, his brow furrowing slightly. He'd ask later.
"How long has it been now-"
"Oh, yeah .ᐣ How's Grunkle Stan doing .ᐣ"
He smiles, placing a hand on his hip while making sure to hide the tattoos on his arms.
"Oh, yeah. I have, huh .ᐣ Been quite a bit since ya last saw me, so I did grow up a bit."
"Fine personally, doing research abord the stan-o-war."
His arms crossed, a light chuckle escaping the elder.
"And yourself? Looks like you've sprung up quite a bit-"
