@LeoRautins@torontomike Reviving an old thread. Leo, if you’re interested in making a connection with a former coach from your young days at James Culnan, drop me a DM. Thank you.
@LeoRautins Hot off your stellar performance on @torontomike ...I spoke to my Dad. He worked with Chester Dziuba at James Culnan. He says the kids played the teachers a few times, but for the school games [you only had a few a year] he was your coach. Hope you connect :-) Thnx
I think the visualization teams in many media outlets need to rethink how they map the war.
Most do maps like the one on the left. But that is not reflecting their own reporting. There aren't entire *areas* that are 'under control'.
On the right is a more accurate alternative.
Yes, big thank you! @COSIA_ca’s continued support of sharing information to improve restoration success and return to forest cover is key in sustainably managing 🇨🇦natural resources.
So excited to announce the launch of https://t.co/LxVfs8otdD, your to-go to portal for everything on land management and restoration, Boreal caribou and wetland knowledge. With a powerful search function, all the information you're looking for at your fingertips. Go check it out!
A great project led by great people. Two years ago we had a crazy idea to use virtual reality to create a field tour about #restoration. We're grateful to work with innovative partners willing to take a chance on new ideas and approaches. Kudos to everyone in the project team!
A peaceful lake in #Muskoka or a man made compensation lake in the middle of Canada's Oil Sands?
Great 1st stop on our 2019 field tour of best practices. #Collaboration#COSIALand
2019 marks the 10th anniversary of #fasterforests, a @cosia_ca program to accelerate the recovery of oil sands exploration sites to self-sustaining boreal ecosystems. We’ve planted more than one million trees or shrubs at Surmont alone! Learn more: https://t.co/3hEFe4OTct
