See Christian extremists in the comments asking him to conform to what he does not believe in. "When in rome...". Some are even happy he lost the job. Wicked things. If Muslims were the ones who did this, you wld have been all over the place crying Islam is this & that.
Nonsense!
@ThaBoyYom Nah, you're way off with this one.
Right to freedom of religion includes choosing to be irreligious as well and the young man wasn't even employed because of his religion.
You can't be saying he has to be a religious person before his argument stands.
I hate the fact that once you question a Nigerian’s intellect their automatic response is to start comparing how much money they have to you. So because you’re rich you think you can’t be stupid?
Right to freedom of speech is universally recognised, but right to freedom of offence is nonexistent.
The right to freedom of expression is predicated on the fact that it risks offending people who might not like what is said.
I've not seen it yet but I can bet my left testicle - someone somewhere is tweeting about Ycee's projected networth and how Peller is 20x richer than Ycee so Ycee is jealous.
I am sure.
A culturally bankrupt society whose source of validation comes from asslicking the wealthy.
No Ideological compass. No guiding principle. No strength. Just "I get money pass you".
A congregation of fools, from whence no progress is in sight.
You know why sane societies thrive out here? Because people don't fucking care what you have.
The concept of human dignity exists. Even the poor will stand tall in the face of the wealthy and battle opinion for opinion.
Phones are merely for calls. Cars are merely for transportation. Not status symbols.
Until the day you decentre ranking people and prioritising their opinions based on the depths of their pockets - you will always be bottom feeders.
I miss what Twitter used to be before these Facebook folks infiltrated this place.
We rarely have intellectual conversations these days. See as posts wey fit kill brain cells full everywhere.
And this is not me being classist.
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." Roms 12:18.
If it's not, let every form of whining be met with an equal or even more severe whining.
@OluOlofin1@NigeriaStories The quota you called unreasonable is a direct consequence of Nigeria's poor educational system. There simply aren't enough facilities to train doctors beyond the numbers we already produce.
Properly fund the system that produces these doctors, and the problem goes away.
