@XivTroy @SammJapoloh Hate it or love it. 8-4-4 in itself undiluted form made us legends. I pity what my children have to go through, coz I have to stock up on those materials that made us.
What worse could happen if Edwin Sifuna decided to chart his own political course, away from the legacy politicians who now appear uncomfortable with his candidacy?
The likes of James Orengo and, today in Kitale, Charity Ngilu, whose attitude towards Sifuna seemed to suggest that they would rather back one of their own than throw their weight behind him.
If there is a group fighting Sifuna, much of it may not be outside the opposition.
It may be within it, among leaders who cannot quite understand how a 44-year-old, relatively new to the center of national politics, has become a political darling to many Kenyans while some who have spent decades in the trenches have struggled to translate that experience into electoral success.
What happens if he walks his own path and builds his own political coalition around the energy, frustration, and expectations of a generation that does not see itself in that political establishment?
I mean, let us face this thing head-on.
Politics are dirty, this is Edwin Sifuna and @gabrieloguda, undisputed friendship and honour, lakini sai Oguda ndio anaongoza choir ya kuweka Sifuna chini. Dirty!
While raising your children, you will spend collosal amounts of money to feed them, clothe them, and pay their school fees.
That's the God-given mission of every parent. The children may, or may not remember you years later when they become stable.
If you get another child, named Asset — and fund him/her alongside your human kids, this child - bond fund, shares, or fixed income fund - will take care of you for the rest of your life. #GoldenNugget
Kisumu’s growth is exciting to see, no doubt. But real city status doesn’t just come from infrastructure it comes from diversity of people, capital, and ideas.
From my recent visit, the city still feels quite homogenous in everyday life. From the airport to the streets, it operates more like an extended hometown than a fully mixed urban center.
Look at cities that have truly scaled. They attract people from everywhere. That mix creates demand, competition, new businesses and ultimately a stronger economy.
It’s why places like Nairobi evolved into economic hubs; people from different regions came in, invested, settled and built.
If Kisumu wants to reach that level, it has to position itself as a city where anyone can come, buy property, start businesses and feel fully part of the ecosystem.
Someone just submitted a ticket asking why their laptop is running slow.
I remote in. They have 3 Chrome windows open with 60+ tabs total.
I close all but 5 tabs. Computer runs fine now.
I write in the ticket: "Resolved - Optimized system memory allocation and cleared background processes."
They reply: "Wow, thank you! What was wrong?"
I reply: "Just some resource management issues. Should be good now."
I didn't lie. I just used technical language to describe "you had way too many tabs open."
If I say "close your tabs," they'll feel scolded. If I say "optimized memory allocation," they'll feel helped.
Same result, better optics.
Also, they'll probably open 60 tabs again next week and submit another ticket.
And I'll "optimize" it again.
This is called job security.
This Sunny's Signal is the jolt everyone needs in their AI dominated lives. Like a hammer and a chisel in the hands of a sculptor, should AI be in our lives, extending our capacities and reach for efficiency, clarity, output. Read on!
If used properly, AI could act like a quiet pit crew for your thinking. But most people will probably hand over the steering to the machine, too.

Allow people to grieve in the only way they know how. It is not a competition. Where it is genuine, it rehumanizes and demands a response. There is nothing irrational about unruly grief. It is a profoundly rational response to irrational, cruel death.https://t.co/8u9eGyuM6a
@Osama_otero Except, Ruth doesn't have to, the strength of his administration should be seen in systems that actually work. That I can now apply and get a passport within 1 week. That for me speaks louder than standing in pulpit. The rest can do so, they have no other platform.
Kitambo, there used to be Wazees who bought The Standard and those Wazees who bought The Nation. That was the Man-U v Arsenal of those days. Taifa Leo ndio walikuwa Chelsea 😂😂😂
@mugaa_eric Waziri your commitment to good workmanship is such an inspiration. As you said, Kenyans deserve absolute value for every shillings spent on a project. And Ahsante for your kind words.
