Source confirms: The Pirates have dealt Triple-A LHP Joe La Sorsa to the Boston Red Sox for cash considerations.
La Sorsa, 28, activated his upward mobility clause and was offered to all 29 teams. He has a 3.46 ERA in 26 innings in Indy. Career 5.21 ERA in 46 MLB appearances.
Agree with this completely. All we did was criticize Ben Cherington for years for his mismanagement of this roster. Suddenly I hear almost nobody taking him to task for this disaster of a bullpen of his construction.
If nothing else, college football has shown this offseason that the U.S. legal system is a total farce in which judges' decisions are pre-determined & then the legal justification is backfilled.
@JMackey_PGH Is it realistic to expect the pirates to look to add at the catchers spot? Potentially a Ryan Jeffers type who can provide some offensive value on an expiring deal.
