@ Grand finale of "La foundation Dassault Systems's" Made in 3D Seed the Future Entrepreneurs program, team JPP won the best product award- Home Essentials. The team was one of the 12 finalists selected from 140 teams across the country during 7 months entrepreneurship training.

Std 7 JPP students- Sarvesh Kolhe and Abhiram Deshpande won the first prize in "Chhote Scientists Sparkle" competition org by @KPIT for their project- "Varsha Rakshak- an automatic rain shed". The duo got an opportunity to meet @rameshmashelkar and @sbravipandit! Congratulations!

50 DAYS INNOVATION JOURNEY (3)

I have described global breakthrough type grand innovations in (1) & (2).

In (3) now, I describe a cute innovation by little school children that I EQUALLY enjoyed!

Here is what I saw on 7 March.

PROBLEM: When onions, etc are kept for drying in open spaces, sudden rains can spoil them. How can we protect them from rain water.

SOLUTION: Buid a slidable roof controlled by a sensor, which is kept in open. The demonstration that we saw showed how the sensor activates the roof sliding motion as soon the first drop touches it!

You can see these children with the Missile Woman of India, Tessy Thomas, who is not only a role model for these children but for all of us too.

@KPITSparkle awards for promoting the young innovators were started by my visionary friend Ravi Pandit.

He had given me the privilege of chairing @kpit innovation council for over a decade. I had a ringside view of how passionately he promoted innovation both within & outside.

My innovation guru @anilgb & I had set up such awards for school through @nifindia @honeybeenetwork

We need many more of them for laying the foundation for building India as a world’s topmost innovation nation

A 'Biomimicry' project named Elephire - an automatic fire extinguisher - done by 6 students of 10th class of JPP has been selected in this exhibition.We are proud to share thar Hon. Prime Minister Shri.Narendraji Modi visited our stall and talked to the students.
