@Rreesrugby The other point that is often not understood in these chats is that the issue is more about continuous full contact training causing multiple minor concussions rather than large head collisions. The changes in training is as key as head collisions in games.

@Rreesrugby I coach in the US and used to coach at the high school level. My opinion I that head guards are worse than useless here as it just makes players that have played American football feel that they are wearing a helmet.

So the question is whether jumping was dangerous in this instance.
