@ellenroseman @loblawco @pc_optimum So they've finally updated their app because they know their fraud & security is an absolute joke so they've finally added in the ability to set your account to earn only -- what the agent was supposed to do when my @pc_optimum points were stolen the first time.

@GreenPParking needs to fix their app. Beyond the sluggish responsiveness, it's sending notifications for parking sessions from weeks ago.

Another nice to have: submitting parking infractions along with photo evidence.

Over 11 years later, it's time to say goodbye to the original @ecobee Smart WiFi EB-STAT-02 thermostat. It's served me well.

In 2 days (2024-07-31), it gets disconnected forever & becomes an offline thermostat that still supports local control, scheduling, etc.

Onto the next!

The ridiculous oligopoly that is Canadian telecom: all the carriers have raised their smartwatch plans to +$15/month. My plan's only $40 so adding an LTE watch really doesn't seem worth it anymore.

Either penny pinching or bad design: using a 25V capacitor on a 24VDC power rail. Finally failed after 10+ years. Replaced by high quality yellow caps.

Happy Wednesday. I drove down to P5 to do some signal testing & discovered @YorkdaleStyle now has cellular coverage all the way down to P5.

As a telecom engineer, yay technology. As someone purposely trying to force No Signal & network searching, *shakes fists*
