@maths_head Yes that looks strange. I find that Nova T6 does some strange things at times. I usually shut it down and try again. 😀.

Had a look at @TimeTabler_UK and it looked good and user friendly.

Haven’t used @EdvalTimetables so couldn’t comment.

@hrogerson Yes. We use an excel combing chart. I have a copy if you need one.

Giving all English teachers double the amount of PPA everyone else gets to account for marking.

And yes I know double isn't enough but it's a start.

@MsGHist Staffing was very difficult for many schools this year. This resulted in delays to starting the scheduling. Although all schools I work with had one by the end of the last week.

I’m sure some schools would have struggled to have a working timetable by the end of the year.

Still amazes me each year when you have that “it will never work” moment but eventually you find a solution.

Also I always find there is something that I’m not happy with. I’m yet to write a perfect timetable.
