@Quietlibertine I tried Neem - mine is probably meant more for indoor use. It didn't seem to help. Ladybugs, though... I will try that. Hopefully a local nursery has some. Even if it doesn't work, they are at least supposed to be good luck! Thank you π
@AllieParkerNY Playtime by Jacques Tati, Nights of Cabiria and E la Nave Va by Fellini, A Brighter Summer Day by Edward Yang (the Criterion commentary is awesome). And, last but definitely not least, The Little Mermaid (1989 version). That movie was everything to me when I was a child.
@Quietlibertine No, but it looks awesome! Thanks :) I just saw it's on Amazon Prime, so I can definitely watch it. Poor Salieri gets a bad rap again, though... whatβs up with that? His ghost must be heartbroken watching all of this π"
@shawzsav Yes! Although an LLC isn't necessary. It can be useful in about two instances I can think of (accepting credit card payments, and saving money with an S corp). But you can declare income from a business or side hustle without an LLC.
I was so happy to be outside in pleasant weather that I did all of my errands (which spanned from Chelsea to UES) on foot :) I walked through some neighborhoods I haven't seen for a while. Here's a photo of a dog spa - I always used to pause here and watch when I lived in UES :)
I have met a lot of really great people over the years :) If you are the kind gentleman who sent me this Fellini box set, please reach out to me so that I can thank you. The email address I have for you is no longer working. β₯οΈβ₯οΈ
@pop_tartlet I agree. Things aren't that bad for my family (yet) - but it's not always safe for the person to remain at home. A caregiver can't sleep with one eye open every night, and stay vigilant every second of the daytime (although some try and are likely very overwhelmed).
Watching 'Kings of the Road' by Wim Wenders is very dangerous at a certain stage in life. That movie gives me fantasies of buying an RV, traveling across the US, and waking up each day in a new place. Taking home with you, like a turtle. Impossible right now, but maybe someday π
